Named after the famous 105 carat diamond, the Koh-I-Noor company has been making toothbrushes since the 1930s. The original company, based in Slovakia, invented a unique means of securing bristles to celluloid handles and developed a successful line of hair and toothbrushes. In 1950, the Italian distributor took over production and the company's products have been a hallmark of high quality for over half a century. The original Solvakian company still exists, but it is now a manufacturer of quality pencils. None of the two companies bears any relationship with pen manufacturer Koh-I-Noor of Germany, which is part of the Parker Pen company.

Koh-I-Noor's toothbrushes use natural hair like Boar, Wild Boar(Black) and Badger as well as high quality nylon tufts (Brand Name TYNEX) with specially treated tips for comfort and maximum effectiveness.

MODELS

MODEL 800 and 800K: Advanced toothbrush with interchangeable heads and TYNEX bristles. The Model 800 comes in a choice of colors, the Model 800K has a chromed handle. These toothbrushes have a unique design: the stem is long and extremely thin, allowing it to easily reach even the most difficult teeth. The head can be easily replaced and every toothbrush comes complete with three brush heads and a handy travel case.
