TRYPHON SOAPS

Tryphon Brand soaps are high quality products, made in the USA to an Italian formula. Our base soap formula is glycerin based and uses all natural ingredients.  We use four different highly purified vegetable oils, specially selected moisturizers, beard conditioners, a lather enhancer and other natural ingredients. Paraben free formula. All our scents are based on natural essential oils. Whenever cosmetics-grade fragrances are used, we state so in the soap description. Tryphon soaps are known for their rich lather and natural scents. They come in a 140 gram (5 oz) tub or in a convenient 56 gram (2 oz) Shaving Stick format. The Shaving Sticks are priced at only $7.50. The Tryphon-brand soaps are temporarily out of stock.



Millefiori

Our MILLEFIORI scent is a complex blend of floral and herbal essences, with subtle citrus undertones and a touch of wild mint. The first impact of this complex fragrance is a trace of wild mint, enrichened by herbal notes. This dissipates to reveal subtle citrus undertones and eventually blossoms into a Cologne-type floral scent, which is masculine and restrained, but has, nonetheless a lasting lingering presence.
These three phases, herbal, citrus and cologne/floral are the result of the fine blending of ten different fragrances, providing a unique and elegant experience. The end scent is a fine Mediterranean cologne-like perfume, refined, manly and unique.

Rosa

The Rosa is a classic Rose soap, with a natural, pure rose scent. This soap uses natural rose water from Turkey as well as the highest grade rose fragrance oils available anywhere. The scent is close to the pure rose scent that was characteristic of old premier English soaps, now sadly no longer available. Formulated in Italy and now made in small batches in the US. This creamy soap produces a superb lather, smooth and silky and the rose scent is subtle, masculine and simply superb. If you long for the old Rose scent of the classic English soaps, this soap is what you have been waiting for. We think this is the ultimate rose soap.

Alpino

The Alpino is the ultimate cooling and soothing shaving soap! This luxury shaving soap offers the cooling effect of menthol and eucalyptus, blended with other alpine herbs. This soap uses exclusively Essential Oils for its distinctive scent. The scent is reminiscent of an Alpine forest, with natural, balsamic herbs, pine and evergreen undertones. Legno di Sandalo

We are proud to introduce our new Sandalwood soap. Our associates in Italy have come up with a fine new blend of sandalwood scents and produced a new soap formula, especially formulated for people with sensitive skin. This all new soap contains oils of avocado and cucumber in a pure, glycerin based opaque base. The soap has no coloring agents and the scent is masculine and woody. The lather is superb and very slick and the moisturizers soothe the skin and leave it smooth and relaxed. A mix of essential oils and highest grade fragrance oils is used in this superb soap.

Medici

This soap is smooth, soothing and produces an abundance of thick, rich lather. Its formula, devised in Italy, includes beard conditioners and skin lubricants. The soap has a milky glycerin base, with a light lime tone.
The scent is a blend of Mediterranean citrus essential oils, with Sicilian lemon, "limella" from Calabria, italian "Cedro" (i.e. Citron, a large lemon/lime-like fruit), bergamot and other citrus essential oils. The scent is subtle, not overpowering, but strong enough to provide a tonic effect that will awaken the senses with its pure, clean and natural perfume. If you like straight lemon or lime soaps, you'll be intrigued by the complex blend of this citrus soap!

Clorofilla

The Clorofilla is a fresh, minty soap, which employs natural essential oils of spearmint, peppermint and other botanical essences, including vetiver, citrus, green melon and several others, providing a cooling and soothing shaving experience. It contains clorophyllin in its purest, natural form.
All natural and transparent, using the highly purified glycerin based shaving soap that is also used in the Cristallo.  It does not contain any artificial colors.

Cristallo

The Cristallo is our response to those customers who asked for a pure, unscented and dye-free shaving soap of outstanding quality.
This soap is produced using four highly refined vegetal oils as well as special natural lubricating agents and beard softening conditioners.

Mentòlo

Enjoy a cool, invigorating shaving experience! Our Mentòlo soap contains a generous amount of menthol and other natural cooling, balsamic extracts. Classic Eau De Cologne

Our new "Classic Cologne" soap recreates the timeless scent of the classic German Eau de Cologne (Kölnische Wasser). Elegant, subtle and refined, this soap is ideal for use with a great Cologne like Roger & Gallet Extra Vieille or with an aftershave like the classic 4711 offered by Barbieria Italiana. Citron

The citron (Cedro) is a large Mediterranean lime, widely used in Southern Europe as a zest in confectionery, as a source of a delicious lime juice and to produce a  revitalising fragrance for the cosmetics industry. Our soap has a lemon-lime scent, not as tart as the fragrance of the American lime, but milder and more soothing.

Neroli

Neroli oil is a plant oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium var. amara or Bigaradia).
The blossoms are gathered, usually by hand, in late April to early May. The oil is produced by water distillation, as the blossom is too fragile to endure steam distillation.
By the end of the 17th century, Anna Maria Orsini, duchess of Bracciano and princess of Nerola, introduced the essence of the bitter orange tree as a fashionable fragrance by using it to perfume her gloves and her bath. Since then, the name of Neroli has been used to describe this essence. Neroli has a refreshing and distinctive, spicy aroma with sweet and flowery notes. It is a non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing, non-photo-toxic substance. Our wonderful Neroli soap uses the purest Neroli essential oil, together with complementary fragrances of the highest quality.

Bay Rhum

Bay Rum lotions have been popular for over a  century as soothing after shave treatments. The extract of essential oils from the leaves and berries of the bay tree (Laurus Nobilis) has been used as a perfume, a skin cleanser, a massage lotion and, especially, as a soothing and effective after shave. Our classic Bay Rhum soap uses a blend of the Laurus Nobilis essential oil and the natural extract from the Pimenta Racemosa, another variety of tropical bay tree.
