KIT #1
Our selection of brush is a basic boar brush made in China: practical, it holds a good quantity of water, does not shed its bristles and generates a good amount of lather.
The kit comes complete with DORCO blades (very gentle, ideal for beginners) and with US made Personnas (good all-round blades). The razor also comes with two TREET Platinum blades.
The soap we selected is the Proraso/Omega soft soap, very lubricating and soothing and very easy to lather. It comes in a handy bowl, with 150ml of soap.
We also added the Proraso pre-post shave cream: it makes the blade glide more effortlessly on the skin, it softens the beard and provides a soothing and cooling sensation after the shave.
In the kit you'll also find a bottle of the excellent Proraso
aftershave balm: a
very soothing, alcohol-free lotion that is considered by many the very
best of its kind.
A Styptic pencil is always useful, particularly to beginners....
As a bonus, the kit includes a beautiful "Gillette" Brand travel case, in black faux leather. This is a very stylish and well made case. (the razor shown is not included)

KIT #2
Kit Number 2 is more advanced and some of its items are slightly more "upmarket". Again, great attention was given at providing a well thought-out gathering of well matched components.
The razor is the excellent Tryphon/Treet TTO-P1, a modern and well balanced Twist-To-Open (TTO) razor, with a precision metal head. This razor is mild enough for a complete beginner, particularly when used with the DORCO blades. The TTO razor is built to give a lifetime of good shaves. The blades supplied are the Astras, DORCOs and the U.S. made Personnas.
The brush is the excellent Omega "Colors" boar brush: a top quality brush, preferred by many experienced users in Italy, where it is the best selling shaving brush.
We also provide a jar of the famous Proraso pre-post shave cream; it prepares the skin and softens the beard when applied just before lathering and cools and soothes the skin after the shave.
We included in this kit a jar of Tryphon "Tuscan Pinewood" soap: a rich, glycerin based soap that is soothing, refreshing and very protective. We also included a tube of Proraso shaving cream, one of the best shaving creams available.

Kit number three is for the shaver who wants something more exotic! We included some products that are not easily available in the U.S.A.

An extra touch of class is provided by a stick of Valobra shaving soap: a classic soap from Italy, refined and ideal for use while traveling.
